Located in downtown Birmingham, Helen is a contemporary Southern grill led by Chef Rob McDaniel and his wife, Emily. Since opening in 2020, Helen has been recognized by Esquire, the MICHELIN Guide, and the James Beard Foundation. Inspired by Rob’s grandmother and centered around cooking over hardwood coals, Helen is a place to gather — to share a meal and linger at the table.

Complimentary valet service is available for dinner guests starting at 4:30 PM
Valet services are provided by 12 Oaks Valet Company, an independent third-party provider. Vehicles may be parked in our rear lot, on the street, or in the adjacent parking deck and are managed by their professional valet team.
Walk-ins are always welcome, based on availability.
